Closeup

A candid shot of an interesting face usually ends up with the subject turning their gaze directly to the camera as if to acknowledge our brief encounter with each other. I am thankful of the gift - a moment frozen in time, and a memory long cherished when I look at the image years later and thousands of miles from where we met.
