Horizon Lines explores the vertical and horizontal lines found in the vast space of western Kansas and eastern Colorado.

I recently returned from Hanoi were I spent several days during the TET celebration. The old city was alive with multi-generational groups of families and groups of friends all wearing the traditional Ao Dai, the beautiful Vietnamese silk clothing. It was a stunning display of beauty, warmth, and the joy of connections.

The soft, round contours of the adobe buildings with their textured surfaces are beautiful subjects for black and white photography. This is a subject I hope to explore further on my next visit to Santa Fe and Taos.
